Kashmir Summer Retreat

Overview

The Kashmir Summer Retreat offers three distinct 3-night, 4-day packages: Standard, Deluxe, and Premium. All packages include accommodation, daily breakfast and dinner, private transportation with airport transfers, a Shikara ride on Dal Lake, sightseeing tours, entry fees to Mughal Gardens, and all applicable hotel and transport taxes. Driver allowances, fuel, parking, and toll taxes are also covered. 24/7 customer support is provided.

Highlights of the Retreats:

Srinagar: All packages feature a romantic Shikara ride on Dal Lake and visits to Mughal Gardens including Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh, and Chashme Shahi.
Pahalgam: Excursions to Betaab Valley, Aru Valley, and Chandanwari are included (pony rides are optional and at an extra cost).
Sonmarg: A full-day excursion to Sonmarg, including Thajiwas Glacier, is part of all packages.
Gulmarg: Gondola ride (Phase 1 & 2, subject to weather and availability) and exploration of the Meadow of Flowers.

Deluxe Package: 3-star hotels and deluxe houseboats
Premium Package: 4-star hotels and premium houseboats.
Luxury Package: 5-star hotels and luxury houseboats.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Srinagar – Local Sightseeing

Pickup from Srinagar airport
Check-in at hotel or houseboat
Visit Mughal Gardens: Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh, and Chashme Shahi
Visit Shankaracharya Temple and enjoy a Shikara ride on Dal Lake
Overnight stay in Srinagar

Day 2: Srinagar to Gulmarg – Day Trip

Drive to Gulmarg (approx. 2 hrs), famous for its meadows and ski slopes
Optional Gondola ride to Apharwat Peak (subject to availability)
Enjoy pony rides or leisure walks through pine forests
Return to Srinagar
Overnight stay in Srinagar

Day 3: Srinagar to Sonamarg – Day Trip

After breakfast, drive to Sonamarg (approx. 2.5 hrs), known as the “Meadow of Gold”
Explore Thajiwas Glacier (pony ride optional)
Enjoy stunning views of the Sindh River and snow-capped peaks
Return to Srinagar by evening
Overnight stay in Srinagar

Day 4: Srinagar to Pahalgam

After breakfast, drive to Pahalgam (approx. 2.5 hrs)
Visit Saffron Fields, Awantipura ruins en route
In Pahalgam: Visit Betaab Valley, Aru Valley, and Chandanwari (local vehicle required)
Return to Srinagar or optional stay in Pahalgam
Overnight stay in Srinagar or Pahalgam (as per plan)

Day 5: Departure from Srinagar

Breakfast and check-out
Transfer to Srinagar airport for departure
Tour ends with scenic memories of Kashmir
